About us

Pride Pull-A-Palooza is Seattle’s Annual Deadlift Competition and Fundraiser. Think: block party meets deadlift competition… with a little sprinkle of queer magic on top! This year, we’re pairing with up with Queer/Bar and Cheer Seattle to create an event that is OUT OF THIS WORLD. 100% of proceeds raised will be donated to LGBTQIA2+ organizations local to Seattle. Everybody deserves a spot on the platform, including and especially Transgender and Gender Nonconforming (TGNC) athletes.

The goal of Pride Pull-A-Palooza is provide a space to strive towards collective liberation and transformation within strength sports. We believe that strength is for everybody and that lifting events should be inclusive for every sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, and gender identity. Furthermore, trans athletes belong on the platform and will always be welcome and celebrated while lifting with us. This is a TERF and hate-free event. Period.
